I had a moderate amount of nausea for the first few days and stayed on top of my painkillers, nausea meds, and ate small amounts of light foods. I came home and went to lie face down in bed and on a few towels and pads and I was draining TONS. My friend and husband were there to help the nurse get me into the car and onto the BBL pillow. I awoke in recovery in a moderate amount of pain and was given some painkillers. I have a lot of staples over both hips but they’re not causing me any discomfort.

In addition to the 360 lipo and BBL, I also had a revision of the lower body lift I had done in November 2017 and had some excess skin over my hips removed. Like I said, my surgery went well and lasted about 6 hours.
Sleeping on my stomach also means I have to pee frequently thanks to all the bladder pressure (and staying super hydrated!) and something I hadn’t thought of - nipple chafing! SUPER IMPORTANT RECOMMENDATION- get yourself some balm that breastfeeding mothers use for their nipples cuz yours will be raw from sleeping on your tummy and rubbing against your shirt! I had some fat transferred to my hips which is why I can’t sleep on my sides. I sleep a max amount of 90 minutes before back pain wakes me up and I have to get up and walk around. I’m just over one week post-op! Everything went well, I’m just very tired as I have to sleep on my stomach and I cannot do so comfortably.
